Join us during VolunThursday with Do Good Days making sack lunches and sandwiches with our kitchen staff. The policy at Open Door Mission is that no one goes hungry. This means we have food on hand at any time of day or night that a guest or a community member can have. The majority of the food given out are sandwiches. On average we go through 25,000 a month. Help us make sandwiches and sack lunches and keep hungry bellies full!
Need to know
Please wear long pants and closed-toe, closed-heeled shoes (like tennis shoes).
We will provide aprons, gloves, and hair nets, but if you bring a baseball cap to wear, you won't have to wear a hairnet!
